The Glazer Family Website

Kayla Arielle Glazer was born today at 7:55 am.  She weighed 8.2 lbs, and was a giant 20 inches long.

Today was June 1st, and the street of West Ash Lane decided to hold a street party. We contacted the city, and they dropped off barricades at our house on Friday, and after schlepping the wooden apparatus to either end of the street, we were good to go.

We had visits from the police (car and bicycle cop), the fire department (ambulance and fire engine), and Mayor Mulcahey stopped by to represent the city government as well.

Most importantly, the ice cream man came too!

We had a great turnout, with only two family’s from the street not attending (they were both out of town). We even had some guests from other streets stop by/crash the party, but everyone was welcome (except for those people living on E. Ash, apparently)

Rachel had a blast, and Mara loved eating her fried chicken drumstick from Mr. Chicken.

Last week we had a wonderful family outing to the Cleveland Indians game with Nana and Papa. Though the Indians lost the game in the 9^th, Rachel and Mara really enjoyed their first trip to Jacob’s Field. Rachel had a blast watching the game on Daddy’s lap and playing in Kidsland with Nana and Papa. She enjoyed all the traditional baseball foods – hot dogs, cracker jacks, peanuts and washed it all down with lots of lemonade. Mara chilled out most of the game and enjoyed the hot summer day with a bottle of tasty formula. Both girls passed out in the car on the way home. We definitely look forward to going again.
