It’s hard to believe that summer is winding down – the time has gone by so fast and our beautiful girls have grown so much these past few months.

Mara is sleeping and eating well and has really become aware of her surroundings. She loves to smile and coo and even likes tummy time every once in a while. She loves to be tickled and she is so happy when her big sis plays with her. She hates having a bath but loves to snuggle. Mara is growing so fast and we are enjoying every minute of her. She still looks a lot like Rachel with dark spiky hair. At her 2 month doctors appointment she weighed in at 10 ½ lbs and 22 1/8 inches long.

Rachel on the other hand is 3 going on 13. She has really come into her own this summer – 8 weeks at Beechmont Day Camp has turned her into a swimmer, golfer, tennis pro and much much more. She has been having such a great summer and experiencing life to its fullest. She loves to play with her friends and family and she keeps us on our toes at all times. Her imagination is amazing and it is remarkable how we can have such in depth conversations with her. She definitely knows what she wants and is not afraid to ask anything or tell you what to do. (Someone recently told me how little girls act when they are 2 is a sign of them as teenagers – if that is true then WE ARE IN TROUBLE!!!!)
